CapsoCam Specifications

The CapsoCam Plus small bowel capsule endoscope uses four high resolution cameras placed around the circumference of the capsule to capture a full 360 degree view of the gastrointestinal tract. These cameras capture high-resolution images at a maximum frame rate of 20 frames per second (5 FPS per camera).

CapsoCam Plus was designed to provide efficient and accurate diagnostic images and one of its most important features is its Smart Motion Sense™ technology.

Using Smart Motion Sense Technology, CapsoCam Plus® takes pictures only when the capsule is in motion. This reduces image redundancy, which also helps to reduce physician review time.

Smart Motion Sense also helps to conserve battery life, for a typical battery life of 15 hours, which means you can feel confident that CapsoCam Plus will provide you with more complete examinations.
